What is the intake process?

Typically clients are asked to arrive for their first session a few minutes early to complete paperwork and learn about their rights and responsibilities. During the first session the counselor and client target specific objectives to help guide the therapeutic process. The counselor completes an assessment and treatment plan, according to the client's information and goals. The client is an active participant and signs on to the treatment plan, which is also reviewed by our supervising physician. The treatment plan is reviewed every 120 days by therapist and client to assess progress and make any necessary adjustments.
